Insurgents 05:34
You’re taking on the world From the corner of your room Seeing history unfold Planning the writing for your tomb But it always dies away Somehow the plans you make are lost time and again But this time don’t you wait Take pen to paper and remind us of what remains Ch: All of the dreams you have Are not just going to appear If you stay hidden under the covers cowering in fear And all the foundations you laid Insurgent and bright within Are willing to break out to the world and command it to let them in You see them in the crowd Revolution on their minds And just to appease themselves Staging protests all in vain So remind me why we’re here? Remind me why we even want to change the world Your saviour’s still inside He's calmly waiting just to share his advice Ch. We all want to change the world

Play Street 03:38
Your city appears in your words as they’re spoken to me I’ve never been as proud as you so obviously are Hiding my heart seems so pointless here In a room full of boys with blood on their sleeves But if we fall, we’ll fall Without admitting defeat Satisfaction stands tall It’s a sense of direction to me Ch: The writing on the wall says keep your head Although they’re all hanging by a thread As I turn back to play street Never had it stopped me before Nowhere else that I can recall Has ever felt as real as play street One day the party will become too much for you all And the illusion of control will fall in on itself Until that day just keep on enjoying the taste There’s nothing sweeter than the company that we keep I know it’s all right there Sprawled out in front of me And if you think it’s not fair You’re just not listening Ch. I’ve come so far around the world and somewhere lost my fear of creation And although you’ll look down and smile, I know the party will hate it I feel the walls coming down, I can hardly debate it Don’t feel afraid to smile, don’t feel afraid to smile Spiral down, spiral down Down into Play Street
3.
You’ll soon know how life gets away, life gets away It rings out through the fog of the day, the fog of the day To someone who feels as though they could love again someday To let it in through your heart will always feel strange Ch: But when you wake you feel the wall is coming down The wall is coming down It’s hard to break on through but the wall is coming down The wall is coming down I thought you would never let her in, never let her in But I’m proud you feel that you can, feel now that you can It’s only when you’re content with who you are That you can carry two To let her in, to your heart, becomes easy to do Ch. Bridge: When you go out to find yourself Make sure you don't get lost along the way You’ve defined what you want in yourself So keep it clear and remember yesterday Ch.
4.
Waves crash in the rain We’re all holding on to what we crave Daydreams captivate In the form of another Lovers and admirers Turn to scapegoats and outcasts Not so long ago I couldn’t see two feet in front of me Ch: But when I’d lost all hope and pride You came running to my side And although I thought it was gone Together we stand alone I’d been so alone Reaching out to all the wrong ones Clinging on so hard To even the finest tether I worked hard and so long Forcing pegs into the wrong holes Didn’t want to see the end Urging myself to just hold on Ch. And when I see you in the morning I know we’ll get through this Through anything that comes along Waves crash on the shore And I can see what we’ve been working for It’s never too late To learn a whole new lesson Someday we can all go back And see it all clear through the black Choices made are never wrong But I’m just glad I made this one
5.
When the road appears before you With your eyes closed you know you’ve gone too far When you can’t recognise the pavement Within a thousand miles of where you are But when the sun goes down The streets light up and I can feel Somethin there Somethin else That feeling creeping back in to my mind Long after they’re all worn out I’m still trying hard to cut ties to the past Still searching for answers in the bottom of a glass And when I hit the wall once more I said goodbye to all I was searching for And although it was already dawn I kept performing If I was gonna get what I wanted to get I’d have to start all over again And I can’t keep the smirk from my mouth I think it’s so sad you’re wasting your time On his Pretty face And this broken city I just want to erase And long after you’re both asleep I’ll be alone with my demons and my thoughts And my plans will stay strong until I get caught
6.
So now the time has finally come Four hearts beating all as one And there’s no centre to the stage I searched so long and hard to find What was always in my mind When all my dues were paid And as our goals get ever higher As it comes down to the wire A question’s posed to me My hands are cold, my mouth is dry Where do my loyalties lie? Don’t we all want to be free? Ch: I don’t wanna leave this feeling behind It’s been a short but wonderful ride But I know whatever comes we’ll stay alive Staring into the starry sky I’m reminded of nights that you and I Would make the grandest plans of all The thin air around me makes it hard To put on a smile and raise my guard Though I know the world is so small Ch. We’re stronger together than any before We make the grandest plans of all
7.
I see you come in late, it takes all of my control to try to refrain to ask And although my eyes are dull I see it all When you come And when you go, am I on your mind at all? I know that times must change, but sometimes it’s all too hard And whatever price I must pay to let go of what I know And what we’ve known Whatever it takes I know it will just add to the pain Once fallen twice be broken You’ve taken words from within me It took so long to see But now you’re gone You’re gone Thank god.

Sitting together under a different sky Gonna ride it out but still just enjoy the ride The rust in the corner of the room Adds to the looming age we’re coming to Yearning just to touch on solid ground Though part of me is always rushing round In dark corners I sit and stare Noticing things I know aren’t even there A hidden mystic in my heart The realist outside soon breaks apart Ch: The smallest detail magnified Life itself is simplified The air around us is dry Under a different sky Trying hard to slow it down All the pieces fall to ground The air around us is dry Under a different sky It’s a complicated point of view A history overshadowing me and you The rust in the corner of the room Adds to the looming age we’re coming to I’m losing count of the days They lurk deep within the maze Ch.

First Step 03:49
It's raining here It's what I always wanted to feel As I step out I'm swept into anonymity So many towns I don't know But somehow these streets feel like home Lives with which I'm yet to align But won't soon forget So I found out It all gets so small when your heart takes it in I still have doubt But I'm willing you to help me begin But time will only test my resolve Coz familiar's the one thing I know And when I go back to my old hometown I'll feel alone. But time will only test my resolve Coz familiar's the one thing I know And when I go back to my old hometown I'll feel alone, but alive. So many towns I don't know But somehow these streets feel like home Lives with which I will always feel aligned Always feel aligned.
